Shaping symbiosis in bio-based industrial ecosystems

Welcome to the SYMBIO Policy Questionnaire!

Thank you for taking part in this survey. It supports SYMBIO — an EU-funded project (Grant Agreement No 101135166) that explores how circular bio-based industrial ecosystems can be strengthened through industrial symbiosis, better policy conditions, and more effective cooperation across value chains.

What is this survey about?

We want to understand which rules, standards, incentives, and governance arrangements support or hinder the bioeconomy. Your responses will help identify practical barriers and enablers and clarify what is needed for circular bio-based business models to become viable, scalable, and competitive in the market.

Who should participate?
This survey is open to all stakeholders engaged in or connected to the bioeconomy, including representatives from industry, research, policy, funding and finance, NGOs, start-ups, and support organizations.

Why does your input matter?

By participating, you bring in perspectives from different sectors and levels of practice, contribute to a more holistic understanding of current policy needs and gaps, and support the development of more informed and effective policy recommendations.

· Time: 10-15 minutes

· For the most comfortable experience, we recommend completing the survey on a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet.

· Most questions are optional, so you can skip a question if you feel not comfortable answering it.

Thank you very much for your valuable contribution to the SYMBIO project!
